About the position

Northshore Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Marketing Communications Specialist to enhance engagement with alumni, current, and prospective families through effective brand visibility, strategic positioning, and storytelling. This role is crucial in communicating the Academy's mission and vision while leveraging various digital and print channels to showcase how the institution is preparing the next generation of leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicates NCA mission, vision, and story throughout all marketing efforts.
  • Leverage creative expression to produce innovative content for all digital channels including social media, internet, email, and the Academy website to grow target audience and build brand awareness.
  • Manages Academy Website, social media platforms, review sites, updates online directory information, and responds to all online communications.
  • Tracks the performance and ROI of marketing campaigns and presents findings to Head of School.
  • Reports website metrics and analysis of social media data to Head of School, recommends changes to increase reach and effectiveness.
  • Uses SEO and MMR best practices to test, analyze, and optimize online visibility and increase ranking via online search engines.
  • Designs and creates print media such as admissions packet and new School Magazine.
  • Serves as a support at school and community outreach events.
  • Explores emerging communication mediums such as podcasts, Academy app, streaming services etc.
  • Serve as a thought partner for campus signage and video messaging.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing automation.
  • Strong communication skills to convey the Academy's mission and vision.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with SEO and MMR best practices.
  • Creative skills for content creation across various platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with emerging communication mediums such as podcasts and streaming services.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools for print media creation.
