About the position

As a Marketing & Community Engagement Manager at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team dedicated to the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns tailored for various product lines, services, and market segments within the Property Management sector. This position is integral to the design, development, and execution of marketing programs that align with the organization's offerings, ensuring that all marketing efforts effectively support the company's strategic objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing new business development initiatives and collaborating with existing clients to develop innovative marketing concepts and design impactful marketing materials. You will act as the primary contact for advertising and promotional activities within a local area office, ensuring that all marketing materials comply with company standards and maintain consistency in branding. Your responsibilities will also include negotiating vendor pricing, providing cost estimates to clients, and managing media submissions, which encompass press releases, feature narratives, and by-line articles. You will prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management, showcasing the effectiveness of marketing strategies and their alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will create persuasive presentations on complex topics for various audiences, including employees, clients, management, and public groups. A key aspect of your role will be to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may arise within existing systems and processes, ensuring that the marketing team operates efficiently and effectively. You will model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and influence stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team that creates and implements marketing campaigns for product lines, services, and market segments.
  • Service new business development and collaborate with current clients to develop marketing concepts and design marketing materials.
  • Act as the advertising and promotion contact for a local area office.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, logo, and consistency of marketing materials.
  • Negotiate vendor pricing and provide cost estimates to clients.
  • Handle and approve media submissions, including press releases, feature narratives, and by-line articles.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management.
  • Create persuasive presentations on complex topics for various audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive and complicated information and handle performance expectations and problems effectively.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
  • Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
