About the position

The Marketing and Content Writer at CRISTA Ministries plays a crucial role in amplifying the organization's mission to transform lives in vulnerable communities. This position involves supporting impactful marketing initiatives that resonate with CRISTA's values and vision, coordinating various marketing projects, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution of marketing strategies. The writer will create compelling content that emphasizes the organization's impact and assist in event marketing and promotional activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing projects, including timelines, project positioning, advertising, social media, and collateral design.
• Coordinate with external vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables for marketing and sales initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with World Concern's brand and community identity.
• Write compelling, mission-aligned content for various platforms, including blog posts, newsletters, website copy, email campaigns, and social media.
• Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and engagement.
• Oversee the inventory and purchasing of branded SWAG and promotional items.
• Support the Director of Events and the Director of Marketing with various tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally with experience in content writing and editing.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create compelling stories and narratives that resonate with donors, volunteers, and partners.
• Strong proficiency with marketing tools and software, including CRM systems, social media management platforms, and email marketing tools.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
