About the position

The Marketing Content Director at Adtalem Global Education will lead the creative strategy, content creation, and advertising development for Walden University. This role is pivotal in building brand campaigns that inspire action among prospects and ensuring that all creative efforts align with the established brand platform. The director will oversee a team responsible for delivering creative content across various channels, working closely with agency partners and in-house teams to meet brand and performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative strategy and content creation for Walden University.
  • Develop and shepherd brand campaign ideas in partnership with agencies.
  • Architect creative and content roadmaps for paid and owned channels.
  • Evaluate and drive creative storytelling with best practices for channels and platforms.
  • Create and review monthly and annual budgets for marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee owned channel creative including social media, CRM, events, and direct mail.
  • Implement data and reporting for optimization and agile testing plans.
  • Collaborate with channel leads, institutional marketing teams, product teams, finance, and compliance.
  • Manage agency relationships, including budget management and contract oversight.
  • Establish efficient processes for workflow and project management within the Creative and Content Center of Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience leading brand and/or creative strategy.
  • Strong agency experience preferred.
  • Experience in market research and performance data reporting.
  • Proven experience in developing multi-channel paid media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of lead-generating marketing programs including direct mail and events.
  • Experience in budget development and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management platforms, and various marketing programs.
  • Ability to work in a complex or matrix environment.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
