About the position

The Marketing Content Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the content marketing strategy for our client Advertising brand. This hybrid position, based in Seattle, WA, Bay Area, CA, or New York, NY, requires a strong storyteller who can develop compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of content types, including case studies, data-driven narratives, blogs, and general marketing collateral. They will also have experience in event marketing, particularly in organizing virtual webinars, and will leverage their skills in social and influencer marketing to enhance our brand's visibility and engagement. In this role, the Marketing Content Manager will drive awareness of our advertising solutions within the seller and eCommerce marketing communities. They will maintain the global brand guidelines and key messaging for the UK market, collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Analytics, Corporate Communications, Legal, and Lifecycle Marketing teams to create impactful assets for digital, paid, and event marketing initiatives. The candidate will conceptualize and implement seller-centric content campaigns that celebrate seller success and demonstrate how our advertising solutions help sellers grow their businesses. Additionally, the Marketing Content Manager will support the event marketing strategy and execution efforts, working hand-in-hand with external vendors to explore new mediums and channels. This position requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented, capable of managing projects from inception to completion, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive awareness of client Advertising and our suite of advertising solutions within seller and eCommerce marketing communities.
  • Maintain client Advertising global brand guidelines, key messaging, and brand narrative in the UK market.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Analytics, Corp Comms, Legal, and Lifecycle Marketing to create assets for digital, paid, and events.
  • Plan and implement campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to social, blog, search, and influencer marketing.
  • Conceptualize and implement seller-centric content campaigns that celebrate seller success and highlight the unique ways ads are helping sellers grow their business.
  • Support event marketing strategy and execution efforts.
  • Work hand-in-hand with external vendors to raise the bar and test mediums and channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Communications, or related field.
  • 4 years of relevant marketing experience in a direct sale, B2B organization (bonus points for experience in eCommerce media/ad sales).
  • Experience in identifying and telling highly data-driven stories gleaned from first and third-party data.
  • Advocate for quality, bringing an eye for detail.
  • Self-starter who seeks out growth opportunities and projects and is capable of completing them start-to-finish cross-functionally.
