About the position

The Marketing Content Manager at Copyright Clearance Center will be responsible for shaping the brand's voice and creating captivating marketing materials. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to produce relevant content, managing lead nurturing programs, and tracking the progress of marketing campaigns. The position is remote and offers a competitive salary range.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of annual marketing plans and product/service launch plans to align activity and budget to goals.
  • Initiate and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the demand generation funnel.
  • Collaborate with product marketers, sales professionals, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Partner with outside creatives such as video editors, writers, designers, and animators throughout the creation and production process.
  • Work as part of a team to create and test new content and marketing communications vehicles.
  • Track progress of marketing campaigns and report on results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in producing marketing content, campaigns, and sales support materials.
  • Prior experience with project management software such as Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or Basecamp is a plus.
  • Ability to translate persona research into content ideas while collaborating with senior subject matter experts and partners.
  • Proficient in applying established frameworks throughout the content lifecycle, including planning, ideation, and mapping expertise in developing content for multiple formats/channels.
  • Skilled in generating ideas, gaining internal support, and managing projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Publishing, Academic Services, and Software is a plus.
  • Dual-minded approach: highly creative and process-driven, leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Effective in balancing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining strong relationships across teams.
