About the position

CATCH Intelligence is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist Intern to join our team in Omaha, NE. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of marketing communications. The selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of content creation, including writing, editing, and producing both digital and print materials. The role is designed for those who are eager to learn and contribute to the marketing efforts of a Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Warehouse consulting firm. As a Marketing Content Specialist Intern, you will work closely with internal colleagues and external clients to gather insights and share how they benefit from CATCH services, products, and consulting. Your responsibilities will include conducting marketing research, writing and editing web content, emails, data sheets, case studies, white papers, brochures, presentations, webinars, and videos. You will also assist with social media planning, writing, and execution, as well as segmenting and developing marketing lists in our CRM system. In addition to content creation, you will support the coordination of User Groups, Trainings, and other events alongside our Events Coordinator. This position emphasizes the importance of lead generation and collaboration with the Sales Manager to achieve marketing outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, a basic understanding of marketing principles, and the ability to meet deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in marketing communications or related fields is preferred, but not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Conduct marketing research by interviewing internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Write and edit web, multimedia, and print marketing materials including website content, emails, data sheets, case studies, white papers, brochures, presentations, webinars, and videos.
  • Assist with social media planning, writing, and execution.
  • Help segment and develop marketing lists in CRM and distribute marketing communications.
  • Coordinate details of User Groups, Trainings, etc. with the Events Coordinator.
  • Assist with lead generation and outcomes in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Related experience in marketing communications is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ClickDimensions or other marketing automation software, and social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Understanding of basic principles of marketing, branding, advertising, segmentation, and messaging.
  • Exceptional graphic communication skills and strong knowledge of graphic design software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as a team contributor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous intern or communications experience is a plus!
