About the position

We are seeking a proficient Marketing Content Writer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role is vital in crafting impactful material across our diverse channels. Your duties will include researching, penning, and refining articles, blog entries, social media posts, and other content that captivates our intended audience and supports our marketing objectives. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing skills, excellent research ability, and a solid grasp of digital marketing and SEO basics. While knowledge of our business and/or industry is not a prerequisite, the ideal candidate will be a fast learner who can not only produce well-crafted, compelling content, but also be able to make quality recommendations for future content pieces that will drive audience behavior. In this role, you will create and refine top-notch content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, press releases, and beyond. You will collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce content that aligns with the company's brand tone and goals. Additionally, you will work with leaders and other subject matter experts (SMEs) on data and information pertinent to various content. Analyzing content performance and making recommendations for improvements based on data and analytics will also be part of your responsibilities. You will optimize content for SEO and ensure it follows industry best practices, manage content calendars and deadlines, and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the company's content strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine top-notch content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, press releases, and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Content Writer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
  • Proficiency with content management systems and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a preference.
