About the position

The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand's visibility and engagement through the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This position requires a creative individual who can create, curate, and manage high-quality content that resonates with our target audience. The coordinator will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and Hootsuite, ensuring that our strategies are data-driven and effective. In addition to content management, the Marketing Coordinator will engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster positive community interactions to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and design, is essential to align social media efforts with overall business goals. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices is crucial for recommending strategies for continuous improvement. The role also involves managing social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization. The coordinator will monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation. A social media content calendar will be developed and maintained to ensure timely and consistent posting. In times of crisis, the coordinator will assist in managing responses to negative feedback or social media crises in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats that resonate with our target audience.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other analytics platforms.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster positive community interactions to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, design, etc.) to align social media efforts with overall business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate unique content ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) is a plus.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) are a plus.
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish.
