About the position

PicoStudio Jersey City is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator Associate to join our team. This part-time role focuses on planning and executing events that will attract visitors to our studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from creation to promotion, ensuring that each event aligns with our specific guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in event planning, social media marketing, and sales, with a proven ability to create engaging and successful events that resonate with our audience. In this role, you will be tasked with promoting events through various channels, particularly social media, to maximize attendance and engagement. You will manage all aspects of event setup, operation, and breakdown, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets our high standards. Monitoring event success and gathering attendee feedback will be crucial for continuous improvement, as will tracking attendance digitally, since compensation is linked to the number of attendees. You will have the opportunity to host up to 2-3 events per week, provided you can ensure ample attendance. Compensation for this position includes a flat rate of $25 for each event, with additional earnings based on attendance and sales made during the event. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for creating memorable experiences for attendees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute events in accordance with PicoStudio's specifications and standards.
• Promote events through various channels, including social media, to maximize attendance.
• Manage all event setup, operation, and breakdown activities.
• Monitor event success and gather attendee feedback for future improvements.
• Track attendance digitally at each event, as compensation is linked to the number of attendees.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and management.
• Strong promotional skills, particularly in social media and digital marketing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
• Ability to handle physical requirements necessary for event setups and breakdowns.
• A network of contacts for event promotion and attendee recruitment is a plus.
• A car to pickup and organize the event.

• Experience in customer service (1 year preferred).
• Ability to commute to Jersey City, NJ 07305 (preferred).
• Willingness to relocate to Jersey City, NJ 07305 before starting work (required).
