About the position

The Marketing Coordinator is an administrative role focused on supporting automotive marketing campaigns and coordinating marketing requests for dealer state associations. This position involves project management support to ensure deadlines are met and marketing plans are executed efficiently, primarily working with the Auto Line of Business Marketing team and other related departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the line of business marketing team with their day-to-day marketing tasks.
  • Support the team with developing marketing collateral for various client-facing channels, including brochures, digital ads, and training materials.
  • Liaison for Assurant Dealer Services with national, state, and local dealer associations, managing advertising efforts and sponsorship fees.
  • Coordinate logistics and promotional aspects for internal and external sales contests and incentive trips.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Submit creative requests through the Robohead tool and manage the legal review process for marketing materials.
  • Provide support to senior marketing roles and utilize Monday.com to track open items.
  • Organize electronic files in SharePoint.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or English.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with proven success.
  • Proficiency in using tools to track tasks and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent command of the English language with strong writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, and resourceful with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience supporting senior marketing professionals and clients/partners.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years of experience in insurance and/or financial services.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience executing marketing and/or communication plans.
  • Basic brand management skills.
