About the position

As a Marketing Coordinator at Bally's Vicksburg, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing marketing initiatives related to events and promotions. Your primary responsibility will be to track weekly expenditures associated with promotions, special events, and entertainment. This includes reconciling invoices, accruing for outstanding invoices, and preparing variance summaries for review. You will be accountable for ensuring that all marketing activities align with the company's operational principles, which emphasize cleanliness, safety, friendliness, and fun. Your role will require you to provide excellent customer service to both co-workers and guests, ensuring that all interactions are positive and professional. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe environment while engaging with guests in a friendly and interactive manner. This position is essential in supporting the overall marketing strategy and enhancing the guest experience at Bally's Vicksburg.

Responsibilities

• Track weekly expenditures for promotions, special events, and entertainment.
• Reconcile invoices and accrue for outstanding invoices.
• Prepare variance summaries for review.
• Provide excellent customer service to co-workers and guests.
• Ensure adherence to operating principles: cleanliness, safety, friendliness, and fun.
• Engage interactively with internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mississippi State Gaming License.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in various situations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Word.
