About the position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supervising and implementing corporate image and property identity programs related to advertising, social media, and community engagement. This role focuses on executing promotional activities that align with the company's marketing goals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement corporate image and property identity programs.
• Work with graphic designers on design projects for marketing collateral, signage, and advertising.
• Oversee the updating of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City website.
• Execute social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with external vendors.
• Assist in the development and supervision of internal communications.
• Respond to customer reviews on social platforms and route feedback appropriately.
• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of promotional programs to the Marketing Manager.
• Oversee the operation of promotions to ensure successful execution.
• Communicate promotions to property teams and create distribution materials.
• Collect and submit promotions paperwork for the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC).
• Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
• Enter data from monthly mailers and promotional programs.
• Handle guest inquiries related to direct mail professionally.
• Complete quality control checks for direct mail projects and promotions.
• Monitor competitors' promotions and prepare monthly reports.

Requirements

• Knowledge of marketing promotional concepts required.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in planning and hosting on-site and off-site events.
• Familiarity with operating an electric pallet jack.
