About the position

The Marketing Coordinator II at Goree Architects, Inc. is responsible for supporting the firm's growth strategy through effective marketing initiatives. This role involves coordinating and writing proposals, managing website content, and promoting the firm through various communication channels. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external consultants to enhance the firm's visibility and engagement in the architecture and engineering industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare/write proposals, qualifications, letters, reports, presentations, brochures, award submittals, newsletters, and other communications.
  • Manage website activities, including blog posts, team member bios, and company news.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and participate in kick-off meetings and proposal production activities.
  • Coordinate with consultant firms for teaming and gathering marketing materials.
  • Communicate and interact with professionals, project managers, and technical staff.
  • Conduct marketing database queries and maintain data accuracy.
  • Coordinate special projects such as conferences, open houses, client events, and internal events.
  • Support management of social media accounts and engagement activities.
  • Interview subject matter experts and write/edit technical content for target audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Education, or other relevant major (preferred).
  • Strong technical writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, MailChimp, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.
  • 2+ years of professional consulting service experience (preferred); A/E/C industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Photography and understanding of lighting, composition, and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • Experience with professional photography equipment and proven experience in architectural photography or related field (preferred).

  • Experience in the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong understanding of architectural photography.
