About the position

The position at HNTB involves writing and organizing proposals and marketing materials for strategic pursuits, supporting pursuit teams in developing win strategies. The role is crucial for coordinating and leading qualification packages and proposals, ensuring clarity and compliance in content, and assisting in the presentation phase of pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, writes, and may lead qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material for pursuits.
• Provides support for the presentation phase of the pursuit.
• Supports pursuit teams in developing win strategies.
• Assists with organization and supports message development for presentation phase of pursuit.
• Organizes and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings.
• May coordinate division public relations (PR) activities, including creating press releases and announcements.
• Writes articles for division newsletter and coordinates project awards and other special PR-related projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Skilled with using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Teams, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, and other communications-related software programs.
• Familiar with CRM.

• Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably within the engineering or professional services industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CMS, CRM, email marketing software, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
• Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
