About the position

The Office Supervisor/Marketing Coordinator at the TN Small Business Development Center is responsible for managing daily operations while coordinating marketing initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility and drive growth. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a productive office environment, alongside developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, creating promotional materials, and analyzing market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Small Business Development Center.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and drive growth.
  • Manage internal and external strategies and content for all marketing channels.
  • Create original organic content for social media and engage with followers.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including content sourcing and audience segmentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external events, including speaker management and registration processes.
  • Write copy for marketing initiatives and develop presentations for stakeholders.
  • Manage various projects such as media interviews and special events.
  • Ensure clients have access to necessary tools and resources for business development.
  • Oversee budget expenditures and maintain financial records.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with three years of full-time work experience including marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing office operations.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of full-time work experience with a focus on marketing.
