The Marketing team is seeking a positive-minded, detail-oriented self-starter to fill the role of Sports Marketing Coordinator. This position is crucial in supporting premium product lines that feature top athletes from the NBA, NHL, PGA, AEW, and other talents. The Sports Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in memorabilia marketing initiatives and athlete branding opportunities. Responsibilities include the strategy and execution of product support materials, social media content, videos, digital catalogs, gifs, advertising campaigns, fan engagement, community outreach, content creation, banners, product announcements, and sponsorship assets. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for providing detailed metrics and analytics for all marketing campaigns. This role reports to the Senior Sports Marketing Manager and will work closely with the Director of Marketing. The Sports Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with various teams, including product, design, and Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) teams, to develop and manage a marketing calendar that supports Upper Deck's campaigns. The coordinator will also be tasked with developing omni-channel brand awareness and conversion campaigns to promote UDA memorabilia products and programs. Identifying new media, advocacy, and partnership opportunities to support UDA will be essential, as well as managing day-to-day relationships and asset distribution. The role involves facilitating asset ideation, creation, and execution, including overseeing the approval process for marketing materials. In addition, the Sports Marketing Coordinator will develop creative briefs and coordinate the production of marketing assets such as banners, ads, and promotional materials. The coordinator will identify key influential figures in the memorabilia and sports space and explore collaboration opportunities. Managing the UDA Release Calendar and Talent Signing Calendar using a project management tool is also a key responsibility. The coordinator will work closely with the UDA and Talent Acquisitions team to provide necessary assets for athlete signings, including branded decor and promotional materials. The role also includes coordinating contests and promotional sweepstakes programs, which involves obtaining legal approvals, acquiring and delivering prizes, and coordinating related promotional events. Collaboration with the Content, Digital Marketing, and Sports Marketing teams is essential to create fresh content that highlights Upper Deck athletes and promotes existing memorabilia products. The coordinator will assist in compiling and reporting key marketing metrics and analytics, developing post-campaign reviews, and making recommendations for future initiatives. Overall, the Sports Marketing Coordinator is expected to excel as a team player and strive to maximize team and department performance.
