About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Sac & Fox Casino is responsible for providing friendly and efficient services to guests and team members while supporting the Marketing Department and Player Development. This role involves coordinating promotions, special events, and graphic designs for various marketing materials, as well as collaborating with advertising agencies and internal departments to enhance the casino's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient services to guests and team members.
• Support the Marketing Department and Player Development in preparing promotions and special events.
• Coordinate graphic designs for direct mail, tournaments, and advertising.
• Work with the Marketing Assistant to ensure timely approval of mailings.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing and marketing files for smooth departmental operations.
• Prepare the casino floor for major events, including decorations and signage.
• Greet guests in the casino and participate in events, parties, and promotions.
• Organize casino marketing materials efficiently, paying attention to detail.
• Assist in expanding in-house promotions, direct mail, and customer relations.
• Input and follow up on marketing purchase needs.
• Track departmental expenses and assist with financial reporting.
• Assist in the development of yearly marketing plans.
• Protect confidential materials at all times.
• Coach and mentor departmental employees on marketing the casino's facilities and services.
• Prepare monthly reports for the Marketing Assistant.
• Assist with drawings and promotions as needed.
• Track all prizes issued for 1099 purposes.
• Track all complimentary items and coordinate with compliance and audit for appropriate tracking.
• Support the Director of Marketing with marketing programs and special projects.
• Set up monthly promotions through the casino database system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; college degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or related fields.
• Two years of casino marketing experience and/or training in marketing or public relations.
• Ability to positively interact with media representatives and the general public.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in operating a PC and literate in MS Word, Excel, and other software.
• Knowledge of desktop publishing and word processing software.
• Ability to handle pressure situations and guest issues with a friendly, problem-solving attitude.
• Motivation to learn and demonstrate marketing skills.
• Positive attitude and cooperative nature.
• Flexibility in scheduling and strong organizational skills.
• Leadership, administration, and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
