About the position

The Practice Group Marketing Coordinator at Miller Johnson is a full-time role focused on coordinating marketing and business development activities for the firm's practice groups. This position is essential in creating marketing materials, managing client events, and supporting the firm's outreach efforts to enhance client relationships and promote the firm's services. The coordinator will work closely with attorneys and the marketing team to ensure effective communication and presentation of the firm's capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Create, write, and facilitate updates to marketing and business development materials.
  • Develop and coordinate the preparation of firm proposals.
  • Outline, write, and interact with attorneys to develop presentations for marketing events.
  • Manage all aspects of client events, including venue selection and logistics.
  • Maintain the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) System for tracking client attendance at events.
  • Coordinate advertising requests and support the director of marketing with advertising planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations preferred.
  • Public relations and communications experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional client service skills and discretion.
  • Ability to think creatively and implement proactive solutions.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in legal marketing or business development.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing strategies.
