About the position

As a Marketing Coordinator at Swank Motion Pictures, you will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing marketing strategies aimed at achieving the company's goals for new customer acquisition, retention, growth, and profitability. This position is responsible for the overall project management, development, and execution of various marketing initiatives, including conferences and trade shows, print collateral, social media, websites, direct mail, and email campaigns. Strong skills in project management, communication, multitasking, relationship building, editing, proofreading, and grammar are essential for success in this role. You will work closely with both the marketing and design teams to ensure that all marketing efforts are cohesive and effective. Your responsibilities will include assisting with all phases of project development, from planning to execution, while managing timelines and deliverables to drive projects to successful completion. You will oversee the creative team using project management tools, ensuring that all projects flow smoothly through the management process. Additionally, you will be tasked with defining project goals, tracking success, developing budgets, and ensuring that all communication requests align with annual marketing plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong internal client relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction ratings. In this role, you will lead creative concepting for new campaigns, manage the creative development and approval process, and coordinate all marketing projects for printing and mailing. You will also initiate customer marketing support on a monthly basis and manage ad hoc creative requests from sales teams. Your work will extend to digital marketing efforts, where you will develop and maintain content for assigned market websites, manage search engine performance, and oversee social media strategies across multiple brands. You will be expected to stay updated on emerging social media tools and trends, benchmark competitors, and ensure beneficial linkages between social media initiatives and digital marketing activities. Furthermore, you will coordinate details for exhibits and tradeshows, ensuring that all logistics are managed effectively and that metrics for each event are established and reported on.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all phases of project development, including project planning and project team coordination.
  • Own the overall timeline and deliverables to help drive projects to successful completion.
  • Oversee the creative team from creative direction to execution using project management tools.
  • Ensure that project goals are articulated and tracked, and budgets are developed and adhered to.
  • Build internal client relationships and work with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to ensure exceptional client service.
  • Develop project-specific strategies and act as the liaison between all teams.
  • Assist with scheduling and facilitating project meetings, including kick-offs and ongoing marketing meetings.
  • Maintain weekly project update documents to keep all parties informed of marketing project progress.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to develop and update marketing materials for customer communications.
  • Lead creative concepting with art on the development of new campaigns.
  • Manage the creative development and approval process, including content review and proofing.
  • Coordinate details of all marketing projects for printing and mailing.
  • Manage ad hoc creative requests from Sales teams and concept content for long-form communication pieces.
  • Work with the web designer to develop and maintain content for assigned market websites.
  • Manage and review search engine performance on sites monthly.
  • Create, develop, and manage strategy, content, and execution for all social media channels across multiple brands.
  • Lead efforts to determine key metrics and KPIs for web and social media.
  • Coordinate details for exhibits and tradeshows for assigned markets, including logistics and communication with show staff.
  • Develop and facilitate pre- and post-show planning and training sessions to ensure clear communication of goals and expectations.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both business and creative writing with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity while managing workloads and pursuing objectives beyond what is required.
  • Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations required.
