About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at The MJ Companies will play a crucial role in promoting the company's products and services while enhancing brand awareness. This position involves collaborating with a dynamic team to execute marketing strategies, develop proposals, and create engaging content across various platforms. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of daily departmental activities and initiatives, contributing to departmental and organizational goals.
  • Create visually stunning presentations and collateral materials for sales and marketing support.
  • Support the functional execution of internal communications strategy and change management to enhance the employee experience and drive understanding of enterprise business strategy.
  • Create and distribute engaging content across various internal communication channels, including email newsletters, intranet, digital signage, and company events.
  • Support the planning and execution of company-wide events and meetings, including logistics coordination and development of communication materials to ensure meeting objectives are achieved.
  • Assist in the execution of social media content creation by brainstorming ideas and producing various formats such as images, videos, and captions.
  • Coordinate the development, completion and submission of responses to requests for proposal (RFPs).
  • Develop proposal content that is high-quality, accurate and in accordance with the RFP requirements.
  • Coordinate all marketing activities to reinforce MJ's voice and presence in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or related discipline or equivalent education preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) preferred.
  • Capacity to manage and balance multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating proficiency in prioritization and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and employ critical thinking in problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and excellent time management discipline with minimal direction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
