About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at KCI Technologies, Inc. plays a crucial role in planning and executing marketing strategies, particularly for trade shows and conferences. This position involves managing logistics, developing promotional materials, and implementing lead generation strategies to support sales objectives. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment on event goals and marketing initiatives, while also providing general marketing support and administrative assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute strategy for trade shows and conferences.
  • Manage logistics, including exhibitor requirements, coordination, registration, and attendee communication.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and consulting services teams to ensure alignment on event goals and strategies.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event analysis.
  • Create and/or coordinate development of promotional materials and campaigns to drive engagement and generate leads.
  • Attend trade shows/conferences as needed, including lifting or moving boxes/display booths and exhibit booth assembly.
  • Implement and manage lead generation strategies to support sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, webinars, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of lead generation activities.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure leads are properly qualified and followed up on.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with lead information and campaign data.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Support brand consistency across teams and marketing efforts ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Support the development and maintenance of websites and digital presence.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for various marketing projects.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing coordination, lead generation, trade show coordination, or similar experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the technology industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
