About the position

Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified and dynamic Marketing Coordinator to support the Business Marketing Team. This role involves coordinating events and sponsorships, managing firm blogs and podcasts, updating marketing materials, and maintaining databases and mailing lists. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's marketing efforts and ensuring effective communication within the team and with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the development, planning, and execution of practice events, sponsorships, and webinar activities in collaboration with the Business Marketing Team.
  • Coordinate the development and publication for firm podcasts and blogs.
  • Gather information and assist in compiling practice communications, pitches, award submissions, and presentations under the direction of the Business Marketing Team.
  • Maintain and update library of collateral materials and marketing information for the practice groups, including assisting in the updating and maintenance of attorney biographies and practice pages on the website.
  • Draft internal and external communications as needed in collaboration with the Business Marketing Team.
  • Track marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and practice clients/prospects in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to execute identified initiatives.
  • Handle day-to-day requests and support general ongoing efforts of the Business Marketing Team.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal or professional services preferred.
  • Strong abilities in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience using Pardot, Salesforce, and Foundation or other proposal and experience software.
  • A general understanding of law is valuable, and project management and event planning experience are beneficial.
