About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Meritage Homes is responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the division, acting as a primary resource for the Marketing Manager. This role involves coordinating marketing collateral, managing website content, assisting with digital marketing initiatives, and supporting various marketing projects. The position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the homebuilding industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary marketing resource for the Marketing Manager and as the secondary marketing contact for the division.
• Support the Marketing Manager in planning marketing efforts, including incentive promotions and agent outreach.
• Coordinate the development and execution of all marketing collateral and campaign materials, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
• Manage content on division, community, and listings websites, performing ongoing audits to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives, including creating and distributing eblasts and flyers, and creating social media content.
• Assist in the new community opening process, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
• Support divisional, regional, and national marketing initiatives, including special projects as requested.
• Track expenses for project marketing, model furniture, and monthly advertising budgets.
• Handle departmental administrative tasks, including vendor set-up, invoice coding/processing/tracking, and expense report preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1+ year of work experience in the marketing field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Detailed editing and proofing skills required.
• Ability to deal effectively with internal customers and make decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
