About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at The William Vale is responsible for supporting the marketing team in executing strategies that enhance the hotel's brand presence and financial performance. This role involves a blend of creativity and analytical skills, focusing on social media management, email marketing, content creation, and collaboration with various teams to ensure effective communication and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute social media strategy, content, and community management.
  • Assist with digital strategy and implementation with our digital partner.
  • Design, write copy, and deploy all email marketing (e-blast messaging) for the property.
  • Manage content in CMS and liaise with website provider to ensure timely completion of priority projects and up-to-date messaging.
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content for social purposes.
  • Support photo and video shoots for website and collateral needs.
  • Execute in-house graphic design requests and liaise with freelance graphic designer when necessary.
  • Assist with vetting influencer, media, and brand requests.
  • Provide property tours and event assistance as needed.
  • Complete influencer/photographer agreements and ensure deliverables are met with PR team.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in Marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media scheduling software (Sprout)
  • Experience with graphic design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva)
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Experience with research using data analytics software
  • Prior experience in hospitality
  • Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of programming and events
