About the position
The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager in executing day-to-day marketing functions at Golden Acorn Casino & Travel Center. This role involves developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing activities, including promotions, advertising, and public relations, aimed at increasing property visits and enhancing guest engagement. The coordinator will oversee various marketing programs, manage advertising efforts, and analyze data to inform marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Manager with daily marketing functions.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve departmental goals.
- Establish policies, procedures, and controls for the Marketing Department.
- Oversee data analysis, including direct mail and player reinvestment matrix.
- Assist Graphic Design with projects and communication with vendors.
- Coordinate property advertising with agencies to maintain marketing consistency.
- Assist Tour & Travel with group analysis and reporting.
- Develop a group sales program targeting regional groups and parties.
- Prepare proformas and postformas for sales and budget impact evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents and special interest groups.
- Coordinate training sessions for tour & travel representatives.
- Create schedules and timelines for direct mail and collateral drops.
- Oversee data analysis and reporting for special events and promotions.
- Facilitate departmental meetings to ensure information flow and progress tracking.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or in the process of obtaining one.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in casino marketing.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Player Technology systems and Gaming Concepts.
- Certification and working experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and online social platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, Adobe tools including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with data analysis and player data extractions.
