About the position

We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Staffmark Workforce Solutions, a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances. This position is an individual contributor role responsible for managing core processes that support the TV Product Marketing organization. The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the focal point for all operational activities, ensuring that the marketing strategies align with corporate objectives. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel to handle various data inputs and deliver actionable insights. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will be tasked with market sizing and analysis at the geographic level, scenario planning for business risks, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to advance corporate objectives. The successful candidate will gather, validate, cleanse, analyze, and summarize large sets of data, identifying emerging trends and informing stakeholders accordingly. The Marketing Coordinator will also maintain and improve data models to size the US TV Market, forecast market positions across key segments, and manage the Promotional Roadmap. This includes proposing data-driven promotional prices, improving processes, managing changes, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires analyzing and interpreting KPIs to inform leadership on drivers of leading indicators and delivering recommended action plans. The Marketing Coordinator will monitor key priorities and market trends, sensing competitive risks before they occur, and facilitate the flow of information across internal partners. To succeed in this position, the Marketing Coordinator must anticipate future business requirements and perpetually measure the pulse of the organization to ensure cohesion of strategic priorities. The role also involves developing, standardizing, and deploying tools and processes that support the achievement of corporate objectives, closely monitoring key performance indicators to ensure executives and decision-makers are well-informed to maximize revenue, share, and profit.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate, cleanse, analyze, and summarize large sets of data. Identify and inform stakeholders on emerging trends.
  • Maintain and improve data models to size the US TV Market. Forecast overall market position across the key segments, leveraging internal and external data with a focus on geographic action planning.
  • Manage Promotional Roadmap, including proposing data-driven promo prices, improving processes, managing changes, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Analyze and interpret KPIs to inform leadership on drivers of leading indicators and deliver recommended action plans. Monitor key priorities and market trends, sensing competitive risks before they occur.
  • Aggregate daily field reports, monitor SKU-level performance and recommend actions to improve trends.
  • Facilitate the flow of information across internal partners. Close collaboration with Product Managers to ensure key channel, market, and segment insights are gathered and leveraged across all processes.
  • Anticipate future business requirements; perpetually measure the pulse of the organization and its department objectives to ensure cohesion of strategic priorities.
  • Develop, standardize, and deploy tools and processes that support the achievement of corporate objectives. Closely monitor key performance indicators to ensure executives and decision-makers are in an informed position to maximize revenue, share, and profit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of directly related experience is required.
  • Prior operational experience in technology, business development, and/or OEM sales and Marketing is required.
  • Must be able to work well under the pressure of timelines, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when driving for results.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to schedule, prioritize, and communicate actions and results as needed.
  • Must deploy a diplomatic approach to solving complex problems.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in business systems (SAP, Tableau, BI).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Experience developing presentations, and communicating with internal as well as the customer's executive management team is a necessity.
  • Strong Teamwork, able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment. Also have the ability to take the initiative to get a project done, independently as needed.
  • Prior experience with consumer electronic products preferred.
