Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. The company is based in Waldorf, Maryland. We seek a creative, passionate, and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for promoting sales and creating a positive identity for the company through promotional material and personal visits, executing marketing strategies/goals to generate new referral sources and increase sales. In addition, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing care hours, developing a profitable referral source pipeline, and gaining market share. The core competencies of an Outside Sales Representative are: Excellent Communication, Creativity, Organization, Listening, Likability, Tenacity, Energy, Inspirational/Influential, Exhibits dynamism, enthusiasm, charisma, excitement, and a positive “can do” attitude. Essential Functions include effective communication both 1:1 and in group settings, easily articulating the vision and standards, keeping the team and referral sources informed, and communicating information on market share strategy to the team. The Marketing Coordinator will generate new solutions to problems or suggest innovative improvements to current processes, create promotional material as needed, investigate the competitive landscape, and identify opportunities to gain market share. The role also involves pre-planning weekly sales activities, creating categories for referral sources by profitability, maintaining up-to-date competitive files, charges, and pay rates, and maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness in daily activities. The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate sales activity with all office staff to ensure appropriate follow-up, present ideas and data outlining new service opportunities and sales potential, represent the agency in the community, participate in educational opportunities in healthcare, and establish new sales opportunities. The position is part-time and primarily out of the office, requiring the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with all stakeholders. The candidate must display high knowledge in the agency service lines, service fees, and client base, and be able to propose services and institute contractual agreements with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all sales activity in the Customer Relationship Manager database.

  • Maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in daily activities.
  • Represent the agency in the community and participate in educational opportunities in healthcare.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and prospects through market research.

Requirements

  • Experience in home health care is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
