About the position

Steuben Foods Inc is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in Elma, New York. This role is pivotal in promoting our plant-based meat products and will support the execution of various marketing strategies, campaigns, and content creation. The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in expanding brand awareness and engaging with health-conscious and environmentally aware consumers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for plant-based foods and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment. In this position, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Research and Development and Sales teams to ensure that marketing efforts align with business goals and product launches. The role requires identifying target customers and markets, assisting in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, and conducting research on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences within the plant-based sector. The insights gathered will be compiled into reports to inform the marketing team’s strategies. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in planning and executing trade shows, product launches, and sampling events, while also developing and maintaining positive relationships with existing and potential clients. The role includes attending trade shows and community fairs to represent the company and its products, ensuring that our brand is well-represented in various marketing channels. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Research and Development and Sales to ensure marketing aligns with business goals and product launches
  • Identifies target customers and markets
  • Assists in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, email, digital ads, and in-store promotions
  • Conducts research on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences within the plant-based sector, compiling data into reports and providing insights to the marketing team
  • Assists in the planning and execution of trade shows, product launches, and sampling events
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Attends trade shows and community fairs and staffs the company booth
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Three to five years in Marketing, Promotional Sales, or related field, preferably in the food industry
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
