About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Dayton Freight is responsible for planning, writing, and implementing a variety of marketing communications. This role involves assisting with various campaigns and activities aimed at both internal and external audiences, promoting the brand image, and managing content across different platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, write, and implement a wide variety of marketing communications.
  • Assist on various marketing campaigns and activities for internal and external audiences.
  • Understand and promote brand image and identity.
  • Write, edit, and produce content for employee communication media such as company news and newsletters.
  • Create, deploy, and manage content on digital communication boards.
  • Plan and create content for social media, including copy and visuals.
  • Manage suppliers regarding quality, deadlines, and budget.
  • Assist internal departments like sales, safety, employee relations, and operations.
  • Continuously improve processes and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in social media management.
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
  • Work experience in Marketing and/or Communications.
  • Knowledge of Google platforms.
