About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Providence House plays a crucial role in creating original content and supporting various marketing and communication initiatives. This position is hybrid, with the office located at East Campus, and offers a salary range of $30,000 to $40,000. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director and the External Relations Team to develop marketing campaigns for Providence House events and initiatives. This includes designing dynamic digital and print materials that adhere to the Providence House brand guidelines and support its mission. The content produced will cater to a variety of audiences and will include social media updates, website content, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, e-blasts, fundraising appeals, event invitations, signage, and the Annual Impact Report. In addition to content creation, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for writing compelling copy for various platforms, coordinating and implementing content calendars for social media and print communications, and maintaining digital platforms to enhance Providence House's performance based on user data and industry trends. The role also involves overseeing the print production of marketing materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of all projects. The Marketing Coordinator will support external relations by assisting in mass mailings, participating in events, and representing the organization at various functions. This position requires a commitment to cultural competence and diversity in service delivery and professional interactions. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, along with experience in social media management and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively are essential for success in this role. The Marketing Coordinator must also be willing to accommodate weekend and evening responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing campaigns for Providence House events and initiatives in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Director and other members of the External Relations Team.
  • Design dynamic digital and print materials for various audiences that follow Providence House brand guidelines.
  • Create content for social media and website updates, info-graphics, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, one-pagers, e-blasts, fundraising appeals, event invitations, signage, and the Annual Impact Report.
  • Write compelling copy for social media captions, website updates, event descriptions, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Coordinate and implement content calendars for social media, e-blasts, and print communications to ensure timely publication.
  • Maintain digital platforms and improve Providence House performance according to user data, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate print production of all marketing materials, including final design, quantity needed, and budget for each project.
  • Oversee inventory of marketing and outreach materials to ensure appropriate use and timely replenishment.
  • Support production and execution of mass mailings including fundraising appeals and event solicitations.
  • Participate in events and outreach efforts as a representative of the organization at various conferences and special events.
  • Assist in managing and routing incoming telephone calls and visitors at the doors.
  • Undertake other projects as requested by the Government and Foundation Relations Director or President & CEO.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media management including creating and scheduling content for multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Canva is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects effectively on a deadline.
  • Motivated, self-starter able to function productively and effectively with autonomy.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passionate about the mission of Providence House.

Nice-to-haves
