About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Golden Nugget Laughlin is a dynamic role focused on the coordination, preparation, and execution of various promotional activities related to all marketing programs. This position requires a proactive individual who can work flexible hours and is comfortable moving and lifting promotional items such as signage, boxes, and decorations. The Marketing Coordinator will engage closely with guests on the casino floor, often speaking into a microphone, and must thrive in a busy environment with multiple priorities. The role is essential in ensuring that all promotional materials are ready and that events run smoothly, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction. In this position, the Marketing Coordinator will coordinate and execute all promotions and special events, ensuring timely and accurate communication with guests, department heads, co-workers, and vendors. The individual will maintain organized files and folders, both electronically and physically, and assist in the physical setup of events, including the placement and removal of stanchion ropes, signage, and other materials. Additionally, the coordinator will work with the Database team to create promotional tags and prizes, assist in preparing reports and contracts, and uphold all Gaming Commission Regulations and company policies. The role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment. The Marketing Coordinator must also safeguard confidential information and be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by management. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in marketing within the casino industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all promotions and special events.
  • Communicate timely and accurate information to guests, department heads, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating ordering, inventorying stock, and verifying receipt.
  • Maintain organized files and folders both electronically and in physical office space.
  • Assist in the placement and removal of stanchion ropes, metal stanchion signage, counter signage, chairs and tables, podiums and other physical set-up requirements.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of marketing materials.
  • Assist Database team with the creation of promotional tags, prizes, and other programming needs.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, contracts, plans for various marketing efforts.
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Safeguard confidential information of all employee, department and company records.

Requirements

  • Proven success in areas such as customer loyalty, planning and execution.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts and days.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
