About the position

My client, a high-end Midtown Architectural Company, is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to join a fast-paced, dynamic marketing team. This position requires a candidate with an architectural, engineering, or construction background, who possesses excellent writing, editing, and time management skills. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential, as the successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging qualifications, proposals, and presentations. The role demands a creative and practical problem solver who is detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture. A self-motivated professional who brings a sense of urgency to accomplishing objectives will thrive in this environment. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams to develop proposal narratives and scopes of work, update marketing collateral and project databases, and assist with project closeout procedures for marketing use, including project photography. You will also prepare award submittals and surveys, assist in the coordination and execution of special events, and monitor sources of industry-related market information. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods, along with knowledge of marketing fundamentals as they pertain to the architecture and design industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and engaging qualifications, proposals, and presentations using Adobe InDesign
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop proposal narratives and scopes of work
  • Update marketing collateral and project database
  • Assist with project closeout procedures for marketing use, including project photography
  • Prepare award submittals and surveys
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of special events
  • Monitor sources of industry-related market information

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or other related fields
  • Experience in a marketing position
  • Experience in an architecture, interior design or related industry preferred
  • Experience in the production of marketing materials and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite is required
  • Excellent writing, editing, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals as they pertain to the architecture & design industry
