About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Jacksonville University Dining Services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies. This role plays a crucial part in promoting our company's brand and driving business growth through targeted campaigns. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives, tracking results, and continuously improving our marketing efforts. In this position, you will assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and content marketing. You will conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for marketing initiatives, monitor and analyze campaign results using analytics tools to optimize future campaigns, and design and create marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, including graphics, brochures, and presentations. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales strategies. You will also utilize SEO best practices to enhance website search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and digital marketing strategies will be essential to continuously improve our marketing efforts. Additionally, you will assist in managing and maintaining our company's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A strong understanding of the market and the ability to conduct research to inform marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with sales teams and the ability to collaborate effectively to drive business growth.
