About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Performance Foodservice plays a crucial role in supporting the company's marketing initiatives and sales growth. This position involves close collaboration with sales teams, suppliers, and various departments to coordinate tradeshows, meetings, promotions, and other marketing-related activities. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to function effectively as a team member within the department and the broader organization, taking on any assigned duties that best serve the company's objectives. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing film and video materials, which includes handling camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce high-quality video products. The position also requires maintaining local marketing materials to ensure they are current and relevant. Additionally, the coordinator will order promotional giveaway items, manage inventory, and coordinate sales data for promotions, including rebates, redemptions, or rewards. The Marketing Coordinator will complete various graphic projects, such as logo designs, newsletters, trade journal ads, and menu designs. They will assist with meeting and trade show preparations, which may involve travel to these events. Other responsibilities include managing the creation, editing, and distribution of order guides, designing digital collateral, assembling raw footage for videos, and enhancing video content with graphics. Staying updated on digital and traditional marketing best practices is essential for success in this role. Familiarity with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Acrobat DC) and Canva is also required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 - 12 months experience with graphics software
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint / Excel)

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 - 2 years experience with Adobe Graphics
  • Photography skills
