About the position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to execute corporate and local marketing strategies through individual effort and facilitation of local selling teams in all phases of marketing and sales activity in an assigned territory. The Marketing Coordinator will work as a member of the corporate Marketing Management Team to develop and execute corporate marketing and sales programs at the field level to support business objectives. These programs will include product sampling, incentives and promotions, planning, organizing, and executing supplier activities, pricing programs, and training for local sales teams. The role involves developing and evaluating brand growth programs for presentation by local sales teams and personally to existing and potential new customers in the assigned territory. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for corporate advertising activity and promotional programs, including incentives for assigned products, and will make recommendations to improve effectiveness to achieve volume and margin goals. Additionally, the position requires the development and execution of customized programs for assigned markets and products designed to improve sales of existing customers and gain new accounts. The Marketing Coordinator will analyze the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs, including brand development, point of sale execution, and pricing strategies at the field level. They will work closely with local sales teams to ensure execution consistent with corporate strategies to grow sales volume and corporate profits. Building relationships with Sales Center management, sales teams, suppliers, and corporate managers is essential to achieving business objectives in both office and social environments. The role also includes creating, maintaining, and distributing Merchandising Standards for assigned market areas, ensuring claims for reimbursement from parent companies for promotional activities are received, and gathering data to create marketing and sales performance reports for management. Public Relations functions related to products and promotions may also be part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts and perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including data retrieval and software applications for work processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and promote a positive business image.
