About the position

The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Marketing Department at Wheatland Bank, ensuring that all projects are completed accurately, branded appropriately, and submitted on time. This position is responsible for developing and executing the Bank's social media and digital marketing strategies under the guidance of the Director of Marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will assist the marketing team with various activities, including the execution of the Bank's annual marketing plan and event planning across the organization's 21 branches located in eastern and central Washington. Given the deadline-driven nature of this role, the Marketing Coordinator must possess strong multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail. In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will work to enhance the Bank's presence on social media platforms by developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy. This includes creating and managing email marketing campaigns using bank-provided software and resources. The Coordinator will also assist in administering promotional campaigns, customer events, and celebrations, ensuring that the Bank maintains a professional appearance at all community events. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will help develop marketing plans and designs for electronic message centers and in-branch digital signage, ensuring that messaging remains fresh and aligned with the Bank's current priorities. The role also involves maintaining the Bank's website, ensuring that content is up-to-date and compliant with Bank regulations, as well as updating online content with third-party vendors such as Google, Yahoo, and Yelp. The Coordinator will gather information on competitors' products and marketing methods, maintain a marketing project calendar, and prepare monthly progress reports on the status of marketing projects.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of social media and marketing experience.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adept at planning and organizing programs and events.
