The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between various business units and marketing experts, ensuring that marketing deliverables are executed in a timely manner. This position involves a range of project management responsibilities, including project intake, outlining tasks, setting due dates, copywriting, editing, and handling various digital marketing tasks. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to coordinate marketing requests from multiple stakeholders, which may include creating digital marketing assets for web, social media, email, and other platforms, as well as managing event signage, print collateral, radio ads, videos, and sweepstakes rules. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will gather all necessary information to complete projects, such as due dates, launch dates, budgets, and collateral requirements. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential, as the Marketing Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the Marketing Department. Effective resource management is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all projects are supported by the appropriate marketing team subject matter experts and other internal resources. Vendor management is another critical aspect of this position, which includes issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), reviewing vendor proposals, and selecting external partners. The Marketing Coordinator will ensure that all budgets, timelines, and final deliverables are met by external partners and will act as the point of contact for any outside contracted agencies. Collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Advertising, VP of Creative, and SVP of Marketing is necessary to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Business Analytics team to make data-driven marketing decisions and track the performance of assigned marketing efforts. The role also involves creating and maintaining weekly project status reports for each assigned business unit and coordinating projects using digital project management software, specifically Wrike. The Marketing Coordinator will support various internal and general marketing projects as assigned, along with any other duties as required.
