About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital serves as a vital link between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. This role is focused on creating demand for the hospital's services through ethical marketing and sales strategies. The Coordinator will implement the facility's strategic sales plan, enhance the brand image, manage assigned territories, and work towards achieving business development goals in collaboration with the Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between the facility, community, and referring agencies.
  • Create demand for the facility's services through effective marketing and sales methods.
  • Implement the facility's strategic sales plan.
  • Enhance the facility's brand/image.
  • Manage assigned territory and accounts effectively.
  • Achieve departmental and facility business development goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Three years of documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
  • Knowledge of the South Carolina behavioral health market, insurance plans, target accounts, and referral sources preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local healthcare providers and referral sources.
