About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Persistent Systems is a vital role within the Account Management team, primarily focused on managing and executing targeting and audience sizing for various marketing campaigns. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle a high volume of campaigns daily, utilizing first-party data to ensure effective targeting for both managed and self-service campaigns. The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including writing and coordinating press releases, website content, newsletters, and blog posts, which are essential for maintaining the company's marketing presence. In addition to content creation, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with external agencies, including a social media agency, to manage accounts and develop content. This includes monitoring social media performance, reviewing content, and completing monthly reporting. The coordinator will also work with the agency of record to manage ongoing projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to while coordinating with internal teams for marketing, public relations, and communications. The role also involves planning and executing marketing and sales-related events and conferences, managing internal marketing and brand assets, and collaborating with an in-house videographer for video projects. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing communication between Sunrise and internal Kroger teams, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned and effectively executed. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data-driven marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with writing and coordinating press releases, website copy, newsletters, blog posts, and more.
  • Coordinate all internal and external marketing-related projects.
  • Collaborate with social media agency to manage accounts, including content development, monitoring, reviewing, and completing monthly reporting.
  • Work with agency of record to coordinate ongoing and upcoming projects, including website content, research projects, and image library.
  • Manage agency timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with in-house videographer to plan, script, and execute video projects.
  • Manage internal marketing and brand assets.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend marketing and sales-related events, conferences, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate projects and communication between Sunrise and internal Kroger marketing, PR, and communications teams.
  • Manage and execute special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role leading key projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in logging into platforms/tools to pull reports.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of campaign requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive self-starter with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Passion for using data to drive strategic targeting and successful campaigns.
