About the position

Drees Homes is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our Raleigh, NC Division. This position plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Division Sales team while acting as a liaison between the Sales and Marketing departments. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the local Sales Manager and the Corporate Marketing team to tailor marketing campaigns that effectively target specific markets. This involves creating and proofreading promotional materials such as flyers, newspaper and magazine ads, and direct mail pieces, as well as coordinating with printers to ensure timely production. In addition to campaign management, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating marketing supplies for all model homes and sales trailers. This includes overseeing the photography and videography of market homes, model homes, and communities to ensure high-quality visual representation. The role also requires analyzing market trends and customer feedback to recommend adjustments to marketing and sales strategies, as well as preparing detailed reports on marketing campaign performance and sales outcomes. The Marketing Coordinator will manage the launch of all new communities and events, ensuring that all marketing items for new models, such as signage and supplies, are ordered and consistent with Drees signage standards. Additionally, the coordinator will manage inventory levels for customer closing gifts and ensure proper distribution to Market Managers. This position may also involve other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager, making it a dynamic role within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the local Sales Manager and Corporate Marketing team to tailor marketing campaigns to specific target markets.
  • Create and proof promotional flyers, newspaper and magazine ads, and direct mail pieces and coordinate with the printer.
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating marketing and marketing supplies for all model home and sales trailers.
  • Coordinate the photography and videos of market homes, model homes, and communities.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to recommend adjustments to marketing and sales strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on marketing campaign performance and sales outcomes.
  • Manage the launch of all new communities and events in the communities.
  • Order marketing items for new models; signage, supplies, furniture, etc., and coordinate all signage to ensure consistency with Drees signage standards.
  • Manage inventory levels for customer closing gifts and ensure proper distribution to Market Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Marketing and administrative office support experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field of study preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with MLS, Contact Management Software, and/or JDE a plus.
  • Creative and resourceful.
  • Must be organized, detail-minded, and process-oriented.
  • Must be outgoing, creative, and energetic.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have strong follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous Internet marketing, sales, and/or homebuilder experience a plus.
