About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at FirstLight Home Care is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources to increase revenue through direct referrals. This role involves collaboration with team members to monitor goals related to billable hours, client numbers, and revenue, while also reporting weekly on results and networking activities. The position requires a proactive approach to networking and relationship management, particularly within the senior population sector.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with various referral sources
  • Conduct calls, both medical and nonmedical, including new and follow-up calls
  • Establish a networking plan to actively use as a working tool
  • Visit existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships
  • Update prospects, clients, and referral sources databases for contact and mailing lists
  • Track networking efforts and review them with supervisor on a weekly basis
  • Participate in networking groups, especially as they relate to the senior population
  • Perform initial evaluation of services for potential clients, as needed
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement
  • Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of marketing, networking, and/or securing referrals experience in the medical or non-medical field
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation of networking activity
  • Previous use of CRM systems
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Nice-to-haves
