About the position

Are you motivated, energetic and ready to take your career to the next level, designing winning proposals that directly impact the community around you? We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to initiate, write and maintain proposal materials to support our West Virginia Operations, water and transportation services. This position can be filled in either our Parkersburg or Charleston, WV office to help support marketing efforts for the start up of B&N's newest office location. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will develop and integrate key messages and win themes into submittals, building collaborative relationships with Project Management staff to facilitate team synergy, creativity, and effectiveness. You will also be responsible for developing and editing presentation materials for proposal team interviews, supporting promotional activities, and handling miscellaneous office administrative tasks. Additionally, you will help maintain company information, materials, and associated Marketing databases. You will work with leadership that not only nurtures but also encourages an entrepreneurial spirit, providing a dynamic environment for your professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate key messages and win themes into submittals
  • Build collaborative relationships with Project Management staff to facilitate team synergy, creativity and effectiveness

  • Support promotions activities and miscellaneous office administrative tasks
  • Help maintain company information, materials and associated Marketing databases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Creative Arts, Business or a related field, or a minimum of 10+ years of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proposal management and/or writing experience in the A/E/C or similar industry
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing, as well as attention to detail
  • Reliable, a critical thinker, well-organized, and passionate about their contribution to the team
  • Proficiency with InDesign and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with AdobeSuite applications is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
