About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Arup plays a strategic role in enhancing the company's presence in the built environment sector. This position involves leading the preparation of proposals, developing marketing collateral, and supporting various marketing activities. Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of competitive proposals, qualification packages, and interview presentations.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop client-focused win strategies for proposals and statements of qualification.
  • Participate in the development and execution of go/no-go decision-making.
  • Assist in interview planning and presentation rehearsal, applying established win strategies and themes.
  • Conduct client and market research activities.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, such as presentations, brochures, project sheets, and resumes.
  • Maintain CRM and SharePoint databases.
  • Identify and track new opportunities by monitoring targeted procurement sites of key clients and agencies.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of graphic standards to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
  • Organize and support conferences, sponsorships, and key client events.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience leading and preparing proposals within the AEC industry.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Confident, self-motivated, independent, and proactive.
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Adobe InDesign.

Nice-to-haves

  • Involvement with marketing and/or AEC industry organizations is a plus.
