About the position

The Field Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting RBC Wealth Management financial advisors and their teams by providing essential marketing assistance. This position involves collaborating with financial advisors and client associates to develop tailored content and create marketing materials aimed at attracting new clients while also expanding and retaining existing client relationships. The coordinator is dedicated to understanding the specific needs and business goals of their assigned division and projects, ensuring that they deliver outstanding service and promote new initiatives and best practices within the marketing framework. In this role, the coordinator will interface with various internal partners, including marketing, design, and compliance teams, to ensure the timely and successful execution of field marketing projects. A digital-first mindset is essential, as the coordinator will promote marketing programs and drive towards shared adoption goals. The effectiveness of marketing materials will be assessed regularly, with results and best practices shared among the team to enhance future initiatives. The coordinator will also focus on supporting efficiency and scalability objectives by developing personalized templated solutions for clients where appropriate. Regular communication regarding trends in requests, ideas, and issues will be a key responsibility, as will advocating for advisor needs and circulating field feedback with internal partners. Responsibilities

  • Interface with marketing, design, compliance, and internal partners to ensure the timely and successful creation of field marketing projects.
  • Promote marketing programs with a digital first mindset and drive towards shared adoption goals.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing materials and share results and best practices.
  • Support efficiency and scalability objectives by developing and driving clients to personalized templated solutions, where appropriate.
  • Regularly communicate trends in requests, ideas and issues to the team.
  • Advocate for advisor needs and circulate field feedback with internal partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of marketing experience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate many projects simultaneously, often with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and independently.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the success of marketing strategies and programs.
  • Proven dedication to and focus on client service and satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct, motivate and persuade clients.
  • Editing and proofreading skills with careful attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can make decisions independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance quality vs time required.
