About the position

The Marketing Communications Coordinator at G&W Electric Co. plays a crucial role in executing and managing various marketing programs that support the company's strategic business goals. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can adapt quickly to changing tasks and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The coordinator will oversee programs such as the demo truck initiative, the eStore, and the employee store, while also providing support for sales activities and marketing communications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the demo truck program, including scheduling, inventory tracking, maintenance, and driver approval processes.
  • Manage the G&W Electric eStore program, overseeing inventory, online orders, and site audits.
  • Oversee the G&W Electric employee store, including promotions and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with sales to support customer visits, including logistics and hospitality arrangements.
  • Solicit feedback from sales to improve marketing programs continuously.
  • Provide administrative support for the company intranet site under the direction of the Director, Global Marketing & Internal Communications.
  • Assist the Manager, Global Marketing Communications, and Marketing Specialists with promotional materials for tradeshows and campaigns.
  • Support the Tradeshow & Event Lead in planning tabletop shows as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to G&W Electric's brand guidelines across all projects.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies for project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or communications roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with eCommerce platforms and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of event planning and coordination.
