About the position

The Marketing Coordinator provides essential support to the Marketing & Communications Department at The Clearing House, focusing on developing materials that bolster both internal and external initiatives. This position is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional to gain comprehensive experience across various facets of marketing communications. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and possess a strong work ethic, capable of managing a dynamic workload with shifting priorities. The role requires a keen interest in learning and mastering new systems and marketing technology platforms, all while adhering to a highly regulated and deadline-driven environment. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will engage in a wide array of marketing and communications activities, including but not limited to internal and external trade shows, meetings and events, website and content management, email and social media copywriting, marketing analytics, sales support, data management, and promotional communications. The position demands a proactive approach to support various digital marketing and event services as needed, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the content on the website's Content Management System, providing logistical support for meetings and conferences, and assisting with the event management system. Mastery of tools such as Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be essential, as the coordinator will track and analyze marketing data regularly, compiling reports to inform strategic decisions. Additionally, the role involves creating and editing marketing materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and editorial guidelines, and nurturing relationships with vendors, colleagues, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the website's Content Management System, including inputting website content.
  • Provide logistical support for assigned internal and external meetings/conferences.
  • Support the event management system continuously, aiming for mastery of the system (Cvent).
  • Assist with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, tracking and analyzing marketing data regularly and compiling reports.
  • Provide email marketing support continuously, with a goal of mastering the system.
  • Assist in the development and creation of marketing materials, including digital marketing and email communications.
  • Provide writing assistance for marketing materials such as brochures, sales decks, product ads, and fact sheets.
  • Ensure all data and points are updated across collateral and assist with writing and editing material to adhere to company standards.
  • Support the creation, administration, and analysis of content on social media to expand audience and build brand awareness.
  • Manage the Contract Management System, inputting contracts and following them from development to execution to payment.
  • Work as part of a team, managing responsibilities as priorities change.
  • Support marketing swag inventory and ordering of new branding products.
  • Update Marketing Office documents as needed and ensure deadlines are met on or before time.

Requirements

  • 0 to 5 years in a marketing or sales support function.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in banking or a financial institution is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time-sensitive priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, strong work ethic, and a team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong experience writing for different projects, with an ability to adapt content to different audiences.
  • Advanced writing capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Email marketing, analytics, and an understanding of data compilation.
  • Experience with advertising and drafting compelling ad copy.
  • Creative and curious with an eye for design.
  • Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
  • Experience writing articles and copy for digital and print channels.
