About the position

Sunstates Security is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager to support various teams within the company, including corporate, sales, and regional teams. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating marketing materials, managing the company's digital presence, and performing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in crafting and editing marketing materials using Microsoft Office Suite and design platforms like Canva.
  • Oversee review management from multiple online sites.
  • Create and manage paid social media advertisements.
  • Contribute to the creation and editing of our bi-monthly company newsletter.
  • Monitor inventory and shipping of company swag items.
  • Write diverse content, including employee bios, company nominations, and industry-related articles.
  • Support the team in planning company or industry events.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and analyze performance metrics.
  • Manage document organization on shared platforms and folders.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for marketing-related requests from corporate, regional, and sales teams.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in sales/marketing support or administrative role is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in computer software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva, and other relevant tools.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
