About the position

The Marketing Coordinator at Ivy Park is responsible for supporting the Marketing Department with various administrative tasks, event organization, and customer interactions. This role is crucial in representing the community to potential residents and ensuring a smooth transition for new residents. The position emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and commitment to providing exceptional service in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property's product and services to effectively represent the property to referral sources and prospects.
  • Walk the community tour route at the start of each day to ensure readiness for daily tours.
  • Give community tours as a backup to the Marketing Department.
  • Handle all inbound telephone, walk-in, and mail inquiries, including completing inquiry information cards and maintaining the ups list.
  • Qualify prospects, convert qualified prospects to tours, and convert tours to deposits using the sales process.
  • Organize, plan, and manage all marketing events within the approved budget.
  • Actively attend and participate in resident, family inquiry, and referral source special events.
  • Serve as a liaison for new residents and family members, ensuring a smooth transition to their new home.
  • Follow a new move-in checklist completely and accurately.

Requirements

  • Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Able to process information and apply common sense understanding to follow written or oral instructions.
  • Able to analyze, solve, and respond to problems or concerns.
  • Able to count and perform moderately complex math problems.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Able to obtain and maintain valid first aid certification.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a marketing or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with senior living communities or healthcare settings.
