About the position

Pacific Biocontrol Corporation (PBC) is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Corvallis, OR. This role is pivotal in promoting our ISOMATE insect pheromone mating disruption products through the design and execution of comprehensive advertising and marketing plans. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and coordinating various forms of advertising, conducting marketing planning and analysis, and providing sales support. This position encompasses the entire process from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that our marketing efforts effectively communicate the value of our products to our target audience. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the management team to analyze and develop a holistic marketing strategy that maintains our competitive advantage in the pheromone mating disruption market. This includes administering and developing the utilization of digital marketing tools, executing email campaigns, and assisting in product development efforts. The role also involves maintaining the content and features of our company website, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and actively managing our social media presence. In addition to marketing responsibilities, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in event planning, managing the company’s calendar of external events, and assisting sales representatives at trade shows and industry meetings. This position requires a proactive approach to networking and promoting our products to growers, pest control advisors, and researchers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and will be part of a supportive and friendly team dedicated to making a positive impact in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities

  • Promote ISOMATE products through the design and execution of advertising and marketing plans.
  • Create and coordinate various forms of advertising, including traditional and digital media.
  • Develop and deploy targeted advertising campaigns to promote branding of PBC and its products.
  • Design and procure promotional products for distribution at tradeshows and events.
  • Maintain content and features of the company website and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist management in developing a holistic marketing strategy to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Administer and develop digital marketing tools for sales leads integration with MS Office applications.
  • Execute email campaigns to promote and educate about the company's products.
  • Assist in product development including design-packaging and market evaluation.
  • Administer the company's calendar of external events and assist in logistics and communication.
  • Network at trade shows and industry meetings to promote the company and products.
  • Plan and organize distributor/grower meetings and internal quarterly meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration or related discipline.
  • Experience in marketing/advertising in agricultural or chemical industries.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in social media platforms and website management (WordPress, HTML, CSS).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in creative applications such as Adobe.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing/advertising in agricultural or chemical industry, ideally in west coast specialty crops.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with event planning and execution.
